So, after some research I have composed a list of items that will help with organization and overall success.
- mechanical pencils and extra lead
- No. 2 pencils
- pens (blue or black ink)
- highlighters
- at least one sharpie
- colored pencils
- big eraser
- about six 3-ring binders; one for each class
- dividers
- folders (same rule as binders)
- planner (if your school doesn't provide one)
- single subject spiral notebooks (perforated, college ruled- same rule as binders and folders)
- loose leaf paper
- construction paper
- printing paper
- 3x5 index cards
- Post-It notes
- Post-it flags
- a few bookmarks
- paper clips
- flashdrive
- calculator
- glue sticks
- public library card
- stapler
- 3-hole puncher
- ruler with US and metric measurements
- aluminum or stainless steel water bottle
- sturdy backpack
It is also helpful keep an inventory of these supplies throughout the year so you never have to do last minute shopping for a project.
